Careers & placements
100% placement assistance — for every student, until you are placed.
Your CV, your LinkedIn, your interview practice and your referrals are all our work, not yours alone. And the strongest thing on your profile is not revision — it is that you have already worked the job.
The six things we actually do
Placement assistance, itemised
Not a phrase in a brochure. These are the specific pieces of work, and you can hold us to every one of them.
A CV built around your project
We rewrite your CV so a data manager reading it sees what you have done — the capstone study, the checks you wrote, the queries you resolved — instead of a list of course topics.
LinkedIn & profile visibility
Headline, summary and skills tuned to the keywords recruiters actually search when they are filling CDM roles — which are rarely the words candidates choose for themselves.
Three mock interviews
Fundamentals, then scenarios — "a site enters a lab value outside the reference range, what do you do?" — then HR. Written feedback after each round, blunt enough to be useful.
Referrals to our network
Your profile goes to the CROs, sponsors and staffing partners we work with whenever a matching opening appears — with your permission, each time.
A live job board
Every opening we hear about is posted publicly on our jobs page, so alumni can apply directly — not only whoever is in the current batch.
Alumni access that does not expire
Support does not end with the batch. Come back for interview prep when you switch jobs a year later, or when you are moving from coordinator to associate.
The path
Where a clinical data career goes
Data management has an unusually legible ladder: the titles are consistent across companies, and the sideways moves are real ones people make.
Clinical Data Coordinator
Data review, query handling and CRF tracking on assigned studies.
Clinical Data Associate
Owns data cleaning for a study, supports reconciliation and lock.
Senior CDA
Leads cleaning across studies, mentors coordinators, drives lock readiness.
Lead Data Manager
Owns the data management plan, timelines and the sponsor relationship.
Worth knowing before you enrol
How placement assistance actually works
Every student gets the full support list above, and we keep working with you until you are placed. What we are honest about is the timing: some students have an offer within weeks of the capstone, others take several months. Your background, your effort and the market all move that date, so we will not put a number on it — we will just keep going.
Where the practical training pays off
Go beyond interview theory
Definition questions are the warm-up. The questions that decide a fresher interview start with "what would you do when…" — and those are answerable from having done the work, not from having revised it.
"A discrepancy has been identified during data review. Walk me through what you would do."
Defines a discrepancy, names the query process, and runs out of answer in two sentences.
Checks the other forms first, decides whether it is genuine or a check misfiring, writes a query the site can act on, sets priority, tracks it, and says what evidence they keep on closure.
"Tell me about something you got wrong and what you did about it."
Has no example to give, because nothing they produced on the course was ever formally reviewed.
Has a specific one: the deliverable that came back with comments, what the reviewer caught, and what they changed in how they work because of it.
Practical experience is what lets you build answers like the ones on the right. The panel still decides — but you walk in with something to say.
For employers
Hiring for a clinical data role?
Tell us the role and we will send you shortlisted candidates who have taken a study through to lock and can explain how they did it. There is no charge to post an opening on our board.
